About Us

Why are we here?

Our mission is to provide you with powerful information, skills, tools, technologies and mentors to enable you to create outstanding results in your life and business.

Old Chinese proverb: Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime. Metaphorically, our mission is to teach you to how to fish and to provide you with fishing guides and tackle.

Our strategy is to search for best practices and revolutionary new paradigms, to make them our minimum standards, find ways to improve them, and to share them with you. In many cases we will simply refer you to awesome people, paradigms, technologies, and information we have found. We will also provide our own tools and consulting. In some cases we may just serve to remind you what you already knew but have since forgotten or neglected.

Our areas of focus cover a diverse range of emphasis including:

  • Business Marketing
  • Business Optimization -- Streamlining, Cost Reduction, Business Systems
  • Communication and Leadership

Who are we?

Profound Paradigms™ was founded by Rick Sharon. Rick was a corporate software developer for 30+ years. He entered the Information Technology profession believing everything he knew would be obsolete in 2 years. That gave him an insatiable thirst for knowledge causing him to read literally hundreds of books that pertained to his profession, business in general, marketing, business optimization, creative thinking, personal development, and several other areas of interest. He supplemented that with hundreds of audio and video programs.

His search lead him to profound mentors including: Tony Robbins, Jay Abraham, Jim Rohn, Brian Tracy, Zig Ziglar, Stephen Covey, John Maxwell, Napoleon Hill, Tom Peters, W. Edwards Deming, Peter Drucker, Harvey Mackay, Paul Zane Pilzer, Gerald Weinberg, Steve McConnell, Tom DeMarco, Ed Yourdon, Fred Brooks, CJ Date, Robert Prechter, John Murphy, and many many more.
