The following 34 minute video shows how I use ClubScheduler and our FreeToastHost club website for my weekly Vice President of Education process that:

  • Reconciles what actually happened at the meeting vs plan, adjusting for who actually filled which roles
  • Schedules role assignments for upcoming meetings
  • Adds new meetings and role assignments to our Club Website
  • Discusses how I come up with meeting themes and manage the process of assigning them.

Does your club have a Posture Pig?

I recently visited and joined the Park Central Toastmasters club in Dallas, TX.

 

They are an advanced club that provided my first exposure to the "Posture pig" role.  Huh?  What's that?

If It Ain't Fun, You're Doing It Wrong!

I learned that lesson from one of my good friends and mentors Dr. Jeff Johnson, DTM.

 

Every Toastmasters club to which I belong embraces that philosophy. We make having fun an integral part of every meeting. My clubs have two success criteria: 1. Did we learn something? and 2. Did we have fun?

 

Two ways you can have fun is via having meeting themes and through Table Topics.
